#Happy420 Today is an extra special day for us as it marks the first month in our new frontier #Oklahoma. #WeGiveThanks. There was one plant I had to bring with me on this quest, one that I undoubtedly had to make sure I kept possession of, no matter what. And it happens to be the plant I find the most difficult to grow and produce. #HP13
So into the check in luggage cuts went.
When we landed and collected our luggage and first thing I did (while still in baggage claim) was open up and see ‘where’s my P?’
My heart fell out
I had a TSA baggage inspection notice!!!!!
Sitting right on top of my ziplock of P cuts.
Which was on top of my seeds.
Which was on top of my flower supply.
And All my stuff was still there.
You’d think that’d be the end of the story and that that’s a pretty good happy ending with everything being there.
But this is the P we’re talking about...
I thought I was getting my house keys a couple hours after I landed. Uh uh
We ended up stuck in a hotel for 9 days waiting for the fine print real estate jargon to be finalized and accepted. 9 days!!! So for 9 days my P cuts were sitting in a mini fridge.
No worries though... they were keeping great in the fridge. When we finally got the keys to the house I recut the ends of the #P slices and, without any rooting agent if any kind, I just stuck them into the rooters and put the dome on and turned on the light and I went about getting settled into the new place (I love my #JohnDeere riding mower btw let me tell you). A couple of days ago I decided I should look at the cuts and see what was going on. It’d been a little while and I was hoping 1 or 2 had rooted. Usually with the HP13 if I take 10 cuts and 2 root I celebrate like I just got 1000% lol Well lo and behold I had 4 rooted in the plugs!
After getting inspected by TSA, then flying over the ocean to the middle of the country, to then be kept in a hotel mini fridge for 9 days before being started, then starting without the usual tools and supplies... and they still rooted!!! That’s just another day in the life & why I give #SoMuchThanks to continue my #RubicsCubeChallenge #TSAinspection #HotelLife #GreyskullSeeds
